Web Site Goal:
As a studio art major I intend to create a website that reflects my personal interests with the intent to spread artistic culture to the public. I have always been passionate about the fine arts and current fashion trends. I wish to use my website to create a funky, expressive outlet where individuals can find information about up-and-coming designers, artists, and musicians.
Living in Charleston I would ideally like to make the majority my sources local, although I will include more famous icons such as Alexander McQueen and his spring 2011 fashion show. I already have a local, College of Charleston student designer to showcase on my website. I wish to open the eyes of the public to the culture of Charleston, specifically the fine arts and fashion.

- For 2011 Spring Fashion lines: Information such as quotes, information and pictures from various online sources: www.vogue.com; www.wwd.com (Women’s Wear Daily) and several blogs I have found; as well as quoting from magazines such as Style
- On the streets: I intend to photograph local students and individuals during the day or night on the streets of Charleston whose outfits are interesting/following local trends/unique and exciting.
- The piece on Bob Farnham will be written by me. He is my friend from high school and currently is a freshman here at the college. He is an amazing artist and designer and I intend to interview him and photograph his collection which he has available on hand here in Charleston.
- Sam Andriano is also a good friend who is an extremely talented artist. She is a junior at the College and an accomplished painter. She has interned at a prestigious PR company over the summer and I intend to also interview her and photograph her pieces. In this piece I will also focus on any advice she has for other artists as she is extremely experienced and older.
- Me, Myself, and I will be a showcase of my own work and experience in the artistic world including photographs from last year’s Fashion Week which i volunteered at.
- Where on the web? Will be an outlet of various website where i tend to shop and have great deals. i will have different categories such as deals under $100. i will include the website and pictures. such as forever21 and i will put an outfit together and talk about the price and how and when to wear it. Also i intend to include a Deal-Breaker part where i include the website www.renttherunway.com where you can rent designer dresses for a quarter of the price.
